Southeast of Disorder

Last night I shook the hand of the Margaritaville Mango margarita mix man & I loved it, it goes very well with tequila! (Try saying that 5x)
Then later, around 2 AM, there was a micro-burst storm. The hatch was open & everything got soaked. It was VERY windy & my inflatable raft, which I spent the day repairing the floor on, blew away into the night :(
I doubt I'll find it..

upate: I found it! more later

  1. Mikey,
    Glad you found the raft.

A friend just bought a 27ft Ericson. I think it is a 72. It was up in your old stomping grounds somewhere on the "Mighty Ches". He is looking into sailing it down or possibly having it trucked down.(We have a friend that has a business trucking boats around. He is checking out the cost of such.)

Call when ya can. We have a new addition to the family. A kitten. Looks like it might have long hair. The other cats are predictibly not happy at the moment.

We have been getting some much needed rain here. The pool is almost in "poifect" shape. Just needs vaccuming if the rain will hold off.
Last night on the way home from work we saw a vehicle had run off the road and the deputies were there along with someone else. We could not tell much else about it.

Suze goes in for the knee replacement on 03 June and will spend a couple of days in the hospital.
We had a couple of ribeyes last night. I had to broil them in the oven because of the weather.

I meant to leave you with a couple of the ribeyes, since we did not have a chance to fix them here. You are going to have to wait until you get back up here for them or so it looks. "Fat Head" wants you to come back soon. He misses his personal playtoy.
Still have to get you up to Capt'n Stan's. Will have to get Arlie up your next trip through. He plays a mean git-fiddle and writes some awesome songs.

Oh, speaking of talented musicians, Leo Dean played Capt'n Stan's last night. It was great to see and hear him again.( Try looking up leodean.com when you get a chance.)
Not sure when Hugo and Emily are coming back but I hope soon! Check out hillbillybeach.com

About your anchor light you can probably figure out a way to haul one of the solar charged lights up a halyard or hang it from a spreader. I know they make them just for that purpose but I am sure it is most cost effective to use what you have. You might want to put silicone or vaseline on the seals to help waterproof them, keep the salt out, etc. Just a thought.

All the best be with you and stay in touch.

    S-N-S and the critters.

    "FATHEAD" sends "WOOF!"
